Today was the second day I have spent in Armenia Bonito, the village community outside of La Ceiba where Andy's team works. Yesterday was kid's club (see previous post); today was a diabetes clinic and then ESL classes in an orphanage and then back at the Centro Comunidad. It was beautiful to see the same faces over and over yesterday and today and recognize that this team has become a regular and trusted part of this little community and that they are truly being the hands and feet of Jesus in a place where there is a great deal of poverty and suffering. It would be easy to walk into Armenia Bonito and only see the brokenness, but today, in these faces, I saw the hope.
