Exam-time haiku

A friend recently told me I should try to start writing poetry. I think that's a brilliant idea. Here are my attempts:

Trying to study--
Pointless: must check my email!
Maybe it's lunch time?

Iced coffee is gone.
Why am I still sitting here?
I need a refill.

Work: overrated.
There is sun outside today;
I want to catch it.

New song on iTunes.
It will only take minutes
to Google lyrics...

Grades are no big deal.
Will I care ten years from now?
I give up. Play time!
